Thankyou for considering booking one of our properties. In conjunction with our changeover company we wanted to ensure that our holiday properties are cleaned to the very best of our abilities complying with all known guidance. Our cleaning team has been provided with the relevant PPE to use whilst undertaking the changeover and have been briefed on the latest guidance and are well aware of the precautions required. In addition to the normal level of cleaning, extra time will be spent on cleaning and sanitizing "high touch areas" such as light switches, door handles, keys, handles, remote controls etc. All windows and doors will be open whilst cleaning to ensure good ventilation. All linen, protectors and towels are washed at a commercial company to the appropriate temperature to kill viruses and the pillows and duvets will be sprayed with an anti-bacterial product. All cushions and throws have been removed from the beds.
We have installed an automatic hand sanitizer dispenser next to the front door and we would like you to ensure that all guests use this every time they enter the property. We have installed a paper towel dispenser in the kitchen and you can use these in conjunction the provided anti-bacterial spray to wipe over items such as dvds, books, cds, games, travel cot [ please bring your own cot linen] and highchair etc before use and after use. Every sink has handwash beside it and every new stay will have brand new dishcloths and scouring pads.
The additional time that will be needed to perform the new changeover regime does mean that the times for checking in and out have changed. The property must be vacated by 9.30am on the day of departure and the arrival time is now 5pm. We appreciate that this is not ideal but we hope that you understand why we are asking this of you. We also need you to do the following things:
1. Please strip any beds that you have used and put the dirty linen/towels/teatowels/dog towels into the laundry bags that have been provided [ look in the cane blanket box in the master bathroom] and then leave the filled laundry bags in the kitchen. Leave the mattress and pillow protectors on as the changeover team will remove and deal with them appropriately.
2. Please ensure that all crockery and cutlery is either hand washed or in the dishwasher with it turned on.
3. Please ensure that all the bathroom bins are emptied before departure and the rubbish placed into the kitchen non-recyclable blue bin which has the green trade waste bag in. Once full put it into the green trade waste bag marked Cliff House next to the other wheelie bins at the entrance.
These 3 tasks will ensure that our changeover teams are protected from the virus and give them additional time to ensure that we can protect the next incoming guests.
All information that you require before your stay will be emailed to you and the house keys will be waiting for you in the key safe. They will have been disinfected.
If any of your party shows any symptoms of Covid 19 you must contact me immediately and then we can discuss the next steps. The whole party will have to leave the property (all at the same time ) as soon as symptoms are present. You must return to your home to self-isolate.
